Cyber criminals are in the process of rebuilding the GOZ (Gameover Zeus) botnet, which law enforcement authorities took over in June, and current research suggests that they’ve had some success, particularly in the U. S.

The initial GOZ botnet was built using a modified edition of the infamous Zeus trojan program and was designed to steal online banking and other credentials through infected computers.
